RENEWABLE AND SUSTAINABLE ENERGY at School of Industrial Technology
- Aims to take a leading role in the
minimisation of greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon dioxide and
energy conservation by developing
new and innovative renewable and sustainable energy technologies that are environmentally friendly, economically
viable, socially compatible, reliable and secure; and
commercialising these technologies in collaboration with industry,
government agencies and international organisations.
- Plans to connect the
fields of technology development, academic research, commercialisation,
and the policy landscape in the renewable and sustainable energy fields.
It will not only facilitate the collaboration among multidisciplinary
researchers within the University, but will also help to attract funds
from federal, state, and private funding agencies.
